Tried a new field today hoping for some oldies.

The coins were there but not the oldies.
Seems I'm too late or there real scarce but the day was beautiful and the relics were fun to dig.
The lock says New Champion 6 Lever. Any lock people out there?
The leaf thing is either a piece of necklace or bracelet. The field was turned not too long ago as some of the Mems were 8" deep and found aluminum cans deeper than that.
I am convinced I didn't make a mistake by going from the Explorer to the X-Terra. The Explorer has more to offer but when you get down to the nuts and bolt of things the XT series can hold their own. Learn your machine well and have confidence when you hunt and you can't go wrong.

Bob, cool looking loot,If you find all old coins everytime you go out it would make our hobby kinda borring, not much to look foward to finding the same thing all the time.

Silver is hard to get in this area. And I look forward to a nice Pinetree Shilling or a Bust anything. There are many surprises that make me go into every hunt with anticipation.
