Trial Run With CTX 17" Coil

Bell-Two

Active member
Went out for a short hunt a couple of hours at an old school site, that has spots with lots of junk; spots with lots of iron; and spots that are clean. I figured that would give the 17" CTX coil a workout or shall I say let me learn more. Pinpointing was not a problem, that was my main concern. Only the first target was a bit hard at first but after that it seemed to be easier to figure it out. Mostly clad but I did get a smooshed silver ring! Silver a good start for a new coil

way to go! I got your message and will respond as soon as I can.

I sold my 17 inch coil , for inland use I found it to offer no advantage at all when hunting coins. I found it heavy and hard to pinpoint. The ground coverage is great though for beach hunters.
