Treshold (all metal mode) in F75 - how it works ??

Hi,
Can anyone explain how set treshold for not loose things on the edge of range ??
Better set to minus or better set to plus (when it quiets over big metal object) ??
I use -2 and -1 settings as recommended on this forum but i'm curious how it works on 1 or 2.

I have found you will have to try the threshold at different levels depending on your ground differences.

It seems that on my F75 at least..The Ground dictates where I can run it at. Some places I can run low - settings and hear the differences on targets, Some places I have to plus it out for getting the faint deep differences. Like all machines it is suggested you run threshold at just the point where you hear the difference.
No two people will hear the exact same changes..
