Treasures of 3 parks and a few days of hunting

I live outside of Austin TX and use an old Compass X-100 metal detector that I bought new 24 years ago. I have been hunting a few of the neighborhood parks in the area. Here are my finds, not counting pull tabs and the like, there is a little over $60.00 in change.[attachment 53254 MVC-001S.JPG] All of this came out of 3 parks and a high school. Time spent was a couple of hours a day over the last 2 weeks. I just bought a Whites Spectrum XLT and can't wait to start trying it out.:pulltab:

Nice finds! I found one of those Inca/Indian medallioins that is in the bottom right of one of your photos. Not sure what it is, but kinda neat!

Where outside of Austin do you live?
i live in Georgetown and thinking about starting a Georgetown treasure hunting club...looking for locals.

Piggman1, are any of the jewelry finds 14 karat gold or is it all sterling? Also I heard that most of Austin's public parks were off-limits to detecting?................HH..............Joe

Those are some pretty good Finds within that amount of time.. Good luck with the XLT.. try going over the same areas when it arrives just to see what or "If" you missed anything.
