Not all of the information in Charles Kenworthy's books is false. In fact, much of it is true information. It's only those signs that allow you find treasure that have been covered up.
In his first book on signs, symbols sun signs and shadows, Mr. Kenworthy discusses the fact that not a single sign or mark could exist directly over a covered opening that leads to a mine or treasure room. For this reason, triangles were a favorite of The Machine. These triangles can consist of rocks, boulders, trees, etc, and they are set up, in a triangle, near a covered opening.
I have seem many of these triangles in my time, and what you have to do with these triangles is measure from point-to-point-to-point, then add up these measurements, and that is the distance to measure in order to dig for the opening (sometimes this measurement must be tripled). So, we have the distance to measure for the opening, now all we need is the direction in which to measure. On one of the triangle points you will find coded symbols that will give you the direction to measure, but then again, you will find symbols carved on all of these points of the triangle, and this is done to confuse you. In some cases, at some treasure sites, there is another way to find out the direction to measure........and it uses the stars found in the night sky.
The sites that use the stars to tell you which direction to travel from the triangle will have "drill holes" at the Alpha monument. These drill holes are telling you several things, and I'm not lying when I say that I haven't quite figured all of this information out.....just yet. But here's what I DO know: (and this information is backed up by the "treasure map paintings" found in the San Xavier MIssion, which is located just south if Tucson, on Interstate 19).
The drill holes found at the Alpha's are, again, telling you to "use the stars as a guide" at the site(s) that the Alpha leads you to. Once at these sites where the triangle is set up to guide you, then just wait until dark for the stars to come out, and it is at that time that you will look for a star formation that is not only a triangle, but this star triangle will also have one "lone star" off to one direction of this triangle. And it is this "lone star" off to the side of this star triangle that will tell you the direction to go in order to locate the covered opening.
Here are a few questions that I have yet to answer about this information on star triangles, and I'm quite sure that the information I seek comes from two sources. First off, were those who were taught the secret codes taught about certain triangles formations that are found in the sky?? (ie: is the same star triangle used at all star triangle sites?? I wonder about this simply because there are only one or two star formations that form a triangle that ARE NOT inundated with other stars. In other words, I have found, really, only ONE star triangle that is "clean" of any other stars, except four the 4 needed stars (the three stars in the triangle, and the one off to the side of this triangle = 4). Another thing, are they also taught about what time of night to look for this triangle in EACH location the treasure is location. In other words, the star triangle would appear in a different location in Canada than it would in Mexico. And then, of course, we have to discuss the time of night that this star triangle appears. The star triangle, for example, that marks out the tunnel opening to Little Cat Mountain, west of Tucson (a major site worked by everyone from the Aztecs to the San Xavier Mission), was noticed in a very predominant position from around midnight on (to sunrise). Again, is this information found within the drill holes themselves? For example, does the depth of the drill holes give information? Like I stated, I suspect that it's a little of both, that the person making the drill holes was "schooled" in Astronomy, so he already knew the star formation to be used at sites set up using the star triangles. As for the time of night that is best to spot this star triangle, I will say this: knowing The Machine and their beliefs and practices, I would make an educated guess and say that midnight has something to do with the locating of this star formation while in the field.
Then of course there's the time of year. Stars change positions throughout the year.
In closing, let me say this: these drill holes found at the Alpha monument were drilled using a hand held drill bit. In the drill holes that I've found, this process of drilling could only be done using the double-jack process, where one man held the bit and turned it a little bit after each strike of the hammer, and another man swung the sledge. It's interesting to note that these types of bits are still used to this day. I used one of these bits as a kid when working for my Dad in his masonry business. The name of these bits ever struck me, that is, until I got into treasure hunting and actually found drill holes.
You see......the name of these bits are "Star Bits." (they date back to at least the 1600's)
