Treasure story about a possible treasure in East Texas................

Kelley (Texas)

New member
I ran across this treasure story while searching the Internet this morning. What is strange is two people that I met back in the 1970

someone down there with a backhoe could get permission they would be cutting the owners in on the finds if they found it.... Yet, like it says, ;its probably way different now then it was back then. Still if that much there, would well be worth the effort. Water sure isn't going to hurt any of it.... We have a few right up here by me,t hat I've spent some time hunting for on a buddys property and never found anything. There is even a map for it. I can find 2 of the mark points but not that third but could pretty well come close so hunted all of the area it more than likley would of been in.......Nothing, but it was sure exciting trying to make all the pieces fit together. It was part of and old water driven saw mill then, the stone foundation is there still and sits one what was the Old Kings Highway in Hampton, CT... Oh, well, still hope and I go by there almost once a week on my way to the club Wed night meeting. I still try and visualize any other ways to interput what information I have. Still a nice dream to have.

How far are you from that one you posted on? Would you be able to go in and walk it out, take pictures of the high point and where the water fall might of been.
Be neat just to see it.....

Well, a fellow never knows what adventure lays ahead...its stories like this with some historical references that can make a fellow late for dinner! One things for sure, you cant find any treasure sitting in the living room. Thanks!
