treasure mate ??
thanks for the info on the automax have a cx111 the sun ray no fit.
how about treasure mate probe any good ??
I can't speak for treasure mate. I use a Vibra Probe and the work great.

I had a Sunray and will say it is very good but I wanted a probe that could be used with any machine. The Treasure Mate is sensitive and as deep as the Sunray. My boss got the Vibra probe good but not the depth of either one of the others.Plus the Treasure Mate has a lifetime warrenty and is made by Tesoro. It has ground balance. I did put small neopreme washers under the knob so they don't spin so freely.good hunting, jpoe

I have the Sun Ray and like it for many reasons, one is that you can actually detect shallow tagets with it. Works great close to metal and in nests of pull tabs.

I just ordered another machine today and said to throw in a Treasure Mate. I already have:
Sunray Probe - works good, integrates to the detector circuitry for bells & whistles, just stuck to the one machine.
VibraProbe 560 - works good, target needs to be closer to the tip, no switches/knobs, durable, waterproof.
UniProbe - works good, has some depth to it, need to remove headphones as it is audio.
Wizard - Works, no problems yet, inexpensive, odd shape to carry/store.
F-Point - Came with the F-75 (recently purchased), I have not tested/used it yet.

So I hope and am sure the Treasure Mate will fit right in with the gang.
I guess a half a dozen machines - a half a dozen electronic probes -
