Treasure Mate pinpointer

Does anyone have any experience with the Treasure Mate, especially versus any other pinpointer?

My soon to be 8yr old son is currently using a nearly new White`s that really doesn`t work that well and I`d like to get him something much better to use with his Ace 250. I have a Sunray X-1 for my EX II so I know how well a probe can work, and my BIL has an Automax that works surprisingly well also.

I`d like to "hear" your input.

Thanks, Russ

Hi:

Have a Tesora made one,WELL the knobs are too loose, the batteries do not last long on the vebration mode, batterries ridicules to change. But if you can live wth that I prefer it over the whites bullseye. It is strong, and good for gentle probing.Would rate it 7 out of 10.

I have the whites bullseyeII that is my best friend out there in the field.Your sons may be devective. Fresh battries are a must for best performace, The weaker the battery The slower you must work.
