Treasure Hunters on Thames foreshore London

Cool. Thanks for sharing. Too bad you need a permit to remove items from the foreshore as they put it.

I would LOVE to do it and 75 pounds for 2 years is a very small price to pay for the excitement and the thrill of possibly finding some really cool and very valuable. Having said that, Great Britain is SSOOOOO restrictive when it comes to detecting, digging, turning in all your 'treasure' finds. Yes, they maybe do this to deter mass pillaging of historical sites but that's the law so you have to stay on the right side unless you want to pay some hefty finds!! Still a very cool thing to do and maybe I'll arrange a little trip across the pond just for that purpose?!! Jolly good!
