Treasure Ace 200

Hi all, I'm pretty new to metal detecting and to this forum. Is any one familiar with the Treasure Ace 200. Yeah, I know, it's probably pretty low end for what most in this site have but it's what I own right now and I've had pretty good luck searching for coinage and the like in local parks. Just curious if anyone else has had good luck with these types of detectors.

I never heard of the 200, I have an ace 250, it's pretty good except in extermly huntd areas.

I believe the 100, 200 and 300's, are the predecessors to the current 150, 250.... They are green with a square control box. Below is a picture of the 300.

the 100-200-300 weren't my favorites but will do in a pinch. I field tested the 300 back when they first came out. I wasn't all that impressed but for a low dollar achine they will suffice.

I have seen a few reviews that were less than stellar; personally I would put the money towards a 250. Very user friendly and effective machine with lots of great features you won't find on other units in the under $200 price range.

Yeah the 250 is about the best bang for the buck on the market today.

Hmmm, thanks for the advice. I'll keep it in mind if I should decide to purchase ea new detector in the near future. I actually purchased the 200 several years ago only because I was tired of my Radio shack Micronta. The Micronta picked up quite a bit but was by no stretch of the imagination a "top of the line detector". But then again, I'm still pretty new to all this metal detector stuff.
