Travelling with Excaliber

How would you go about travelling with an excaliber on a plane? Im going on a trip to Cali and would like to know. D

Another option is to ship it ahead of time so it's there when you arrive. You can use UPS "Hold for Pickup" service and they will hold it at one of their locations where you can pick it up. The Post Office also has a similar service they call "General Delivery".

I have packed detector, accessories, travel scoop and all in checked baggage. So far, without issues.

I do this often and have had no problems. Take you machine apart and put the shaft into your checked luggage along with the BATTERY or batteries. Now the control pod, coil, and headphones I put in my carry-on along with the manual if you have it. One time I was questioned by a person in training who called their supervisor and having the manual sealed the deal. Airlines have very funny rules about batteries and the end result is their call so just put your batteries in your checked luggage. Hope you have a safe trip and good luck on the treasure. Wrap as gift. Overnight it. Will not get touched minues a 1 in a million random. Or just take with you.

You can also request rules from the carrier on what you can an can't take.

Where are you flying from? Overnight should be less then 100...as long as your in states in a city w major airport.
