the park i hunt is loaded with pulltabs bottle caps one day on way out set machine 20 fer 30 co sens 28 had no thersehold nulled out most of the time i found 4 inch deep merc thought it was luck tried next time same story so 6 silver dimes later with that setting is it luck or what the numbers will not always read right go mostly by sound also there is alot of erorsion in the areas i focus on have not found nothing deeper than 5 in doing this tonite another merc 2 wheaties might work for you try it

He blacked out up to 30 on the conductive side (looking down at your machine the number on the right). Hence everything above 30 gives you a tone. At least that is my take. Maybe he will post a picture for you that would help ...sounds like you have not had your Etrac for that long....don't be afraid to ask questions.

acornhead what i did was blocked everything but small area top right corner found a 925 toe ring today the area im in is heavly littered with pulltabs and caps worst part for me is recovery because i use a garrett pro pointer which picks up every thing
