Trashy fresh water beach hunt experience

I went to a trashy beach site today and worked the shoreline hard. It was so trashy that my detector provided several signals in close proximity with each sweep. I was listening for mid-high tones. I did not find any rings but did manage to work a few pennies out of the trash. I was using both screen and tones to find these targets, when I found a good target I would slow down even slower and use slight slow coil movement about one inch side to side until the CTX locked onto the target.

No gold no silver but I learned valuable experience that I am sure will pay off. I then experienced for the first time the dreaded screen freeze, removed the battery and all was well once again.

HH to all may your finds be many

Good going and better luck next time. Did you install the new update. It supposed to fix the freeze problem.
