Trashy Area Depth

Hi Guys,
How much depth are you guys getting in trashy areas? I have been sticking with clean areas since I am a beginner (one month experience) and have found silvers at 6.5 to 7.5 inches deep in those areas. I am curious how deep you guys find coins when the ground is crowded with trash targets.

Mike,
In real trashy area you may have to use a smaller coil to get the depth than the stock coil. Also too much sensitivity or auto sensitivity will also cut down on the depth in real trashy areas. Too much sensitivity or too many targets under the coil at one time will cut down the depth of a good target.
I have been working some very trashy area the last couple of times out with the X5 and the X8 depending on how trashy it is. On Tuesday I got a nice 1920 Wheatie at 6 inches with the X5 and a 1903 IH at 7 with the X8. Today I got 2 wheaties in with what is left of some rusted cans (just pieces of what is left of a can that just cumble)with the X8 at around 7 inches with the X8. I run Ferrous tones, Iron mask at a -14 with sensitivity at 23 and go slow and listen. I also dug some rusty nails too that were bent, but they sounded too good to just leave, so I had to check them out and they were 6-9 inches deep.
