I arrived at a large park this morning at 7:00. After almost 4 hours I had 44 coins, some buttons, a ring & a large Mardi Gras token.

I think I heard the Lord chuckling when I popped up a 1965 quarter and an 18K gold filled ring. The large token is from the 1961 Mardi Gras celebration. Don't know how anyone could miss this size target as I dug it in an open dirt area right among the play things.

As for trash, I dug almost 2 of these pouches full of junk. I removed a lot of eyeballed broken glass as well.

After a pain pill I am starting to recoup. This old guy needs a long nap now. steve in so la

Congrats Steve! Maybe the Mardi Gras Tokens are very plentiful there, and many ppl don't want them and would just leave them for the kids to play with? Your real gold find will be next.....keep faith....Jesus will give us our desires and meet our needs when we serve Him, faithfully! Amen! Ma

That is a lot of digging. I dig a lot of trash when I go to because I don't want to miss the good stuff.
