I was invited to sift around at an early Colonial trash pit with Boston "Ringmaster" Bill & his 2 boys. We had fun, & some really early glass was coming up. Here's an example of what we were seeing......lots a pipe stems, & a cool clay marble that's gut hand painted stripes <img src="/metal/html/shocked.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":shock"> We had a good time & the find of the day was the musket plate....
 
William & Steven did a fine job & had a ball sifting for artifacts.....HH, Bill
 
At least you've got colonial gear in your neck of the Continent. Looks like a fun day.
