6"--you can pick one up for 200 with some patience. There are not many 5 x 10s out there and the ones I've heard about are mis-manufactured at connection point(hole size and rod end clearance) and Coiltek demands a heavy price.
Using the 5 x 10 , which is really a mid sized coil , in heavy trash (especially iron) is like taking a shower with your shirt on.
