trash coil?

I just got a brand new explorer ll and it came with the 10.5 inch stock coil. I really need something smaller for the conditions I hunt in ie parks schools trashy older homesites. Any suggestions on which smaller coil I should purchase would be greatly appreciated thanks

I have both the sunray 5" and the minelab 8". Both are great coils in the trash. If I would have to choose between the two I'd get the minelab. It's a killer in the trash and you'll save some money. If money is no object get them both <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">.

I have the minelab 8" and 5" excellerator. I have much more time on the 8" than the 5". The five seems to behave a bit differently than the bigger coils, but have found a few good coins with it.
The 8" is certainly the easiest coild to learn on, and still gets decent depth.
