Hey everyone! I've been trying to sort through a bunch of cigar boxes and identify items that might be of importance. I thought listing them together in a few lump sums would be a better idea. Right? Wrong? If you recognize any of these things please reply. I have tried to eliminate all the lady's hose catches that are here in boxes I think the first top left is a union hat pin? The next two across the top are cw era flower buttons. But all the rest are a mystery. Listing all of these one at a time would drive all of you and me crazy. If you can think of a better approach I'm listening and will cancel the post. If you want a closeup of a particular item I can do that also. Thanks, Steve

The 4th item, along with at least 8 more throughout the picture, is a suspender buckle.

Nice little snake clip near the bottom , some poeple say they are from sword belts but Ive seen no proof of that.

The buckle next to it with 3 holes looks like a type of conway buckle used mostly for horse tach, Is there a post on the back center?

Hey Guys--Thanks for the help. The link you sent me is interesting Aaron.I enclosed a picture this time of the hat pin? Not sure if that what it is though. Taz the horse tack does have a post on the other side. I wondered why the clip has the pattern it does. Never heard of a snake clip before. Thanks again both of you for your comments!

Good eye, Taz! That design is exactly the same. I didn't look closely at that clip as I though it was just a bridle cheek piece clip or reins clip like this...
