Trains at train yard..........

Kelley (Texas)

New member
These pictures were taken at the train yard at Kirby, Texas, using my Sony NEX-6 camera and a vintage Sigma 35-70mm F2.8 lens in Manual Mode. Best that I can tell, this old lens was probably manufacturered in the late 1960's or early 1970's. Kelley Texas) :)

I wish our trains were that photogenic......the modern trains over here lack character. The blue sky sets off the colour of the trains really nice and I like all of the vertical and horizontal lines created by the railings, road markings and poles.Another successful vintage lens by the look of it,you won't do any better with a modern lens, great shots.

Really nice pictures! The beauty of the trains really stand out with that blue sky. I love the first engine with the U.S. flag on it.
