Train Station, Then and Today...

The Post Card is most likely from around 1910 or so. The next two photo's, circa 1920? (notice Model T's) show the actual Train Station, sitting across two set of railroad tracks, under two Flatbed Cars, being moved to another location. In the last three , you can view what is left of the tracks, and where it sits today. This is in Danvers Massachusetts. There has been attempts to obtain land, and to move the Depot there permanently, to be restored. The local Boy Scouts are involved...
I found the two photo's years ago, during a clean-out, just a block up the street.

How far is Danvers, Massachusetts from where you live? Properly restored, that would make a great tourist attraction, especially if they displayed an old train locomotive beside it. I think this is neat. Thanks for sharing. Kelley (Texas) :)
