Trading Bounty Hunter Big Bud

Hi friends,
This is my first time on this forum. I am excited because thee are so many helpful people here. After about 30 years, I have decided to "upgrade" my Bounty Hunter. I Can not find anywhere on it where there is a model number. It's all black. It is in perfect condition with no scratches or dinges in it. Even the scuff plate under the coil is like new. I hardly ever used it because I broke my back years ago, and bending over was impossible.

Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. I have to put new batteries in it to make sure it still works properly. My question is," How much do you think it is worth:? I am looking to get a new White's detector which seems to be simpler to use, especially with my sister and 92 year old father wanting to go out coin shooting.

I live in Northwestern PA and there were a few Civil War skirmishes here, along with some forts and batteries also. So I am excited about doing some relic hunting as well. Thank you for your time and I look forward to meeting a lot of nice people with the same interests as I do. Than-you again.

Just read your other post, thought maybe you left old batteries in it in storage but you answered that in your other post. Hate when stuff like this happens, thought only these type of things only happen to me, I see I'm not the only one that things happen to. I did this once before with a Old Heath kit detector I built back in the 80's, I forgot the batteries in there and put it away in storage for awhile. When I dug it out of storage many months later, the batteries leaked acid all over the circuit board ... the detector I spent so much money for was now useless just good for parts! Sorry to hear that yours don't work for you now, hope you can get it restored some how!
