Traded my X-Terra 70 for an Explorer SE

Well I had a little extra cash so I traded my X-Terra 70 for an Explorer SE.
I have been reading about them for a while, I hope I did the right thing.
I really liked the XT70 but I can only think the Explorer will be better.
It should arrive next week. Meanwhile I'm reading the manual and watching videos.
 
YOU DID! I did the same thing! Well, 'cept I traded for an Explorer ll. Detector for detector. Came with a X1 Probe too! I gave him my Bullseye since he did that. Big, BIG difference in depth you'll notice right off the bat. Already found 3 silver coins with it. And I only had it out a few times. I missed the light weight of the X-terra at first but when I found a Walking Liberty half the first time out with the Explorer the extra weight is worth it. That was at a pounded park while just trying out the settings. The last silver half I found I was in the Quick Start with the Sensitivity set high in manual at another pounded park. ( Arn't they all?) I'm so damn impressed with the Explorer Il i renamed my boy after it!
 
You should play around with the explorer simulator if you havent already while you are waiting for yours to come in.....
 
It will be here on Friday. I can't wait.
Of course it's supposed to rain all day Friday.
I'm heading straight to a park that has been beat to death for the first test.
I'm hoping to find some deep signals.

I'll check out the simulator.

dang: what coil are you using?
 
If you get the pro coil you will like it even more, designed to find smaller targets and a little deeper.
