Traded for AT Pro

While at the 45th Indian Territory Treasure Hunt, I decided to make a trade for a new AT Pro. So I will be learning that machine this summer. During the main hunt, I found a lucky token & ended up winning a new Garrett Ace 350. So was a lucky weekend & brought back two new Garrett's. The Ace 350 will probably find its way to the classifieds shortly due to me not having a need for it.

Your luck has just begun. It will continue as you learn the ATPro. Read, Head and watch the videos on the Garrett website about the ATPro. They have good info and are easier to learn through see and do than read and try. Keep the owner's manual handy on your first several hunts for quick reference. Now go and put the ATPro to good use.

May the ring of gold be in your ears and its glitter in your pouch.

Welcome! So what is the 45th Indian Territory Treasure Hunt? Sounds really interesting......and congrats on winning a Garrett ACE 350.

The 45th Indian Territory Treasure Hunt is a two day competition hunt at Salpulpa, Oklahoma. Two days of competition hunting. Basically if you have never entered a competition hunt before, it is fast & furious hunting. You pay a fee to enter each hunt. Fees collected is used to buy silver to bury in the hunts. During the gold hunt, they gave away 8 gold coins. During the main hunt, they had over 100 prize tokens to give away. Out of the 100 prize tokens, 10 of the prizes was metal detectors. Top metal detector given away was an AT Pro. They had a raffle drawing for a White's MX Sport detector.

Competition hunting is a lot of fun. Imagine meeting 70-80 metal detector hunters in one location & have two days to hunt & discuss metal detectors for two days among yourselves.

Congrats on trading for your AT Pro & winning the ACE 350 - both machines have made & discover many great finds. A seasoned detectorist such as you will have no problem making many great finds while out dirt fishing with the ATP. Might consider adding the 5"X8" coil which will aid you in heavy trash areas - anyway thanks for sharing you story of the 45th Indian Territory Hunt with all of us.
