Trade Token

Found this token out in a field the other day. Can anybody ID it ? I've tried but no luck so far. It was found in Sussex County Delaware if that helps.

Thanks Mike, didn't think of that.

Nice one - I'm guessing but maybe a token from some sort of game machine in a bar. But if it has no "cash or trade value" what was the point? Maybe something similar to a Chuckie Cheese token but older. It was good only for more plays of the game. I know there were some of these games in the old days which weren't supposed to be gambling devices, but the bar owner would pay out in cash "under the table".

It was a "Trade Economics" Token. The token was awarded for skill. It was given out in prisons or mental heath intuitions. If you did a good job you got tokens. The person would then exchange them for something. Only dates to the '50s from what I understand. Mike, the whatz-it forum worked, thanks, Joe

Cool find, bud!

Cool looking token. I love finding those things and researching their history.
