managed about 5-6hrs of hunting this weekend and scrounged up 12 wheaties (earliest 1910), '47 rosie, '35 merc, and it took a long time to find out that this one coin started out as a Barber quarter before it got melted in some kind of fire, I was bummed but I'll take it. Trade token was also kinda cool and in great shape.......

Great finds how deep were the wheaties? And could you makeout a date on the Barbie?

wheaties were 3-5". No date on Barbie.....it took quite awhile to find a couple of clues to even determine it was a barbie, burnt beyond. I've only dug 1 barber quarter previously so this was a big disappointment...maybe next time...lol

got 2 silvers today!!! (46 rosie, 42 merc)

1910 wheatie 3-5 inches down. I wish I had the luck here in nc. Sucks to hear about the barbie. You are on fire with the silver. No hunting for me until friday, I'm hoping for more indians!!
