Most of the coins were 1-2" but a few dimes were at 3" and a couple of nickels at 2" So I'm figuring I've got the first 4" at any site. Learned by accident that turning the sensitivity down helped on signals -I shoulda figured that out as my other detectors suffer from the ground feedback.

Thanks, guys. It was the heat that really got to me. Seemed like every time I probed I would turn the dang coin sideways and would have to stay bent over at 64 years of age and that got to me also. It was the nickels that got me, also. The Tracker doesn't exactly give the loudest signals on them and so the 2 inchers were a pleasant surprise. Made me feel confident on finding a gold ring. Even though they weren't deep, some of the coins appeared to have been there awhile. Just seeing how long it takes me to pay for this thing-I'm about $10 into my second week.
