I drove past this school last weekend, and noticed a bunch of earthmovers parked at the field, a pile of pipe, etc...this weekend I went back to see what work had progressed.[attachment 292046 school.jpg]

Gate was wide open, so I gave it a very quick once over with the F70 as the sun came up...I found where they ripped out a stretch of chain link along a path that led from the concessions to the visitor side bleachers, and thats where most of the clad came from. The ground was super dry, strange hunting with the grass being so wet, uncut, and the dirt being so dry...I scouted around the area a little more, and found a big neighborhood area with lots of condos that had some vollyball courts, I think I'll hit them super early tomorrow with the 70 and the sandscoop.[attachment 292047 school1.jpg]
Mud

that was a nice opportunity, thats the kind of thing we like to see

Yeah Gunnar, this place is too new for any old silver, so I just ran for clad and silver/gold jewelry...shallow and fast as possible, hitting all the primary and a few secondary spots...every once in a while a guy trips across an opportunity just by being outside and paying attention...I've been following the local BaseBall/Soccer/Football tournament schedules and try to get in right after an event so I sort of plan a run around the tournaments...generally a clad grabbers dream, fresh coins in the grass, maybe paper dollars, what not left behind...seems to be fewer drops this year though..
Mud

Good spot there Mud, also scouting the surrounding area is a great idea. Might be playground equipment in with the volleyball courts? Fresh drops getting fewer, a fellow never wants to hear that:cry::help: And paper dollars have been elusive for me so far this year...:sadwalk:
