My totals for the yr were Qtrs-782 Dimes- 514 Nickels-317 Pennies 766 Dollar-3== 2382 coins for $273.41

Not too bad for the time I got to hunt this yr. About a third of the normal yrs.In Jan; we decided to start hhouse hunting. Next 3 mos spent on house repairs. The next 3 months house hunting.. Got real tired fast of looking at houses.Moved into new house in June. Spent the next couple months on arranging new house.My wife major surgery in August.
Oct had a couple employees out for surgery and a new baby. November; you guessed it; I had surgery as well. I was out for a month, Christmas came and then New Yr.My son aanounced his engagement to wonderful youg lady; soon to be a nurse today. Haven't posted in quite awhile..Just wanted my MD friends to know that I'm still kicking;dirt that is..Lol. It has been a very busy yr; hopefully; I will get to hunt and post again soon. Oh yeah;; we moved 16 miles north of Cincinnati; so I guess my old name of Cintisteve isn't really appropreiate any more; but West Chester Steve doenst quite get it..

Sounds like a good year for anyone.

I did not get to hunt near as much as I would have liked, due to my wifes declining health. I was lucky enough to get a few gold rings, however.

I was just thinking the other day about how we were not seeing many posts from you.

Have you found any goodies in your new yard?
 
found a few coins.. clad of course.No rings or anything nice. I did find a 1768 4 reale last yr though..Oldest coin I have found so far

We had some family things to deal with, a very wet spring, I was out of commission for a while due to a work injury, and back to a too-wet late year. So, while I didn't get as much as I would have liked to, I did manage to round up too many blasted pennies. Shoot, I ended up with 2291 of them and that almost matches your total coin count! Maybe if Oregon has sales take more people would hang onto those blasted coins? :(

Anyway, we can all have a good year or bad year on coin counts when others compare the numbers simply because some folks might live in tiny little places while others are in the midst of a large urban environment with a lot of parks and schools and people who loose the change. So, I do like to see what others are finding and compare, in general, based on where they are or how often they get out, but in the end I do two 'averages' to see the total take. One is the PCV or Per Coin Value (what the average coin value would be) by dividing the total dollar take by the coins recovered. The other is to see how the 5
