First The Prizm was easy to tell the difference between a pulltab and a Nickel by swinging coil 90 degrees and if it did not lock on solid at the Nickel it was a pulltab. Then after I got the Ace I went back to all the places I had good luck with the Prizm and picked what I had missed. Also it is getting harder to get down and up so did not go for the pulltab Nickel trick so much and the Prizm might be a little easier to tell the difference. If I had a choice it would be the Ace and second choice the Prizm.

Hey EZ what type of hunting beaches or parks. Have you ever tryed the larger 9.5 coil on the Prizm. That 250 Ace sounds like a great metal detector everyone with one seems like they like their performance. Thanks Sundance

I always hunt Parks and School grounds, have over a hundred in the local area.
No I haven't tried the 9.5" coil because they would add weight and
with having to use oxygen, added weight is harder.
Good Luck no matter what you use. ezdigger Stan

Stan It looks like by your finds that your are doing a lot of work. This is very impressive for someone who is lugging around a oxygen bottle. The Nordic National Ski Patrollers at refresher training with the down hill Patrollers are always joking about having an oxygen bottle in our ski belts or packs to assist a patient, which you might as well bring a kitchen sink. Thanks Ron
