Totals for the year -

steve in so la

Well-known member
I had my best year ever for everything but silver coins. Here's my breakdown :

6663 Pennies
1166 nickels
1712 Dimes - 6 were silver
1210 Quarters - 1 was silver
6 Sacky bux - 3 SB bux
---------------
10,760 total - $603.98

40 Solid gold items - 21 were rings.
14 silver rings

I didn't keep track of
all the other silver odds & ends.

Highlights - -
I sent most of the gold & silver to the refinery
last week to add to the coffers here, should be
close to $300.00.

Had a 506 dug coin day.

Dug an old milk token that I sold for $100.00

I learned to drink more water while out digging :)

Here's my 3 favorite finds for the year, sapphire and 2 diamonds, 14K :

And this 1906 EP&SW RR date nail. There have only been about 7-8 of these found so it's very rare, and valuable.

Them are awesome totals! You are the king of clad, and gold in my book! I know you found some buffs at the forum hunt. Did ya find more old nickels and wheats? I always like it when you find some old ones out there. Congrats bro that is great! :)

A few wheats and nickels but it sure is hard to get oldies here anymore. Gone are the old days of 100-120 silver coins per year. So many guys detecting now, steve
