Tot lots and bark chips...

Parkit

New member
I love bark chip playgrouds on elementary schools. Whenever I'm not finding much "old" stuff or the "good finds" get few and far between, I can always count on a playground to bring my spirits up. Lord bless the first person to think of putting bark chips on playgrounds to save the kiddie's noggins (and to hide the stuff that falls out of pockets and off fingers). 164 coins today,

and this nifty little .925 ring,

and I'm ready to hit the old spots again looking for pre-'65 coins.

Nice haul there bud. Wish I could get out but our weather sucks. Before my wife got sick I used to take off and run down to California when the weather got bad.

Seems like you can always count on a park to give up some jewelry. Good going on that pocket full of change to.

Nice ring, I love to find jewelery! I only ever used to hunt the sand playgrounds, until about 3 months ago. I went down to another shire yesterday and hunted 8 sand parks, for a total of 85c. I dropped in to a park that I occasionally take my 4yr old son to. It's chip bark, I found $10 in $1 and $2 coins. I have had some good success in the bark parks of late. HH, Nugget.
