Tornado coil????

Anyone used the Tornado coil with their ATP and would share their results. I used mine in a fresh water lake today found a little clad but hit some really deep targets that gave up some erratic high tone VDIs and quiet often hit 99. I'm not done with it and feel that if it is there the coil will pick it up. My concern is that it maybe getting too deep in the water.

Well I found out why my Tornado was acting erratic. I was putting my gear together for and outing today. I turned on the ATP and it went crazy. I thoroughly inspected my ATP and noticed that the faceplate at the top was out about 1/16th of and inch and that there was sand in the crevice. I pulled the plate off and there was sand all around the edge and on the o-ring. I cleaned it all off and am going to try and re-grease and re-seal everything. I had done a 3 hr. lake hunt the day before. Might be a good idea to check that faceplate everytime before getting in the water. So I'm assuming that the Tornado is a fine coil and the error was human fault.
