Top Left signals? All the way to the left?

I have a custom program that I've seen on the internet. It is programed where you have all of the top of the screen accepted with the biggest cursor in the edit screen, and have it accepting all the way over to the left except you leave 3/4in rejected. Now when you talk about having the high left signals is that all the way to the left, or is it just until it reaches the 3/4in rejected part?

just till it gets to the rejected part.. you wont hear anything in that black area so the curser wont go over there.. If its reading a solid tone then its coming from the accepted area only

Sorry I guess I got a little confused do most of you accept the whole top region or just all of it except 3/4in? That is what I wanted to know because if most of you rejected the 3/4in region then it would be like Jim said but if you don't reject at all it would be all the way in the left of the screen.

I am not really sure about that.. I generally have it wide open except one notch or 2 in iron mask.. I think that the curser may go into the disced out area to ID targets you cant hear, but dont think you would be able to see it there, then again it doesnt ID untill you get a threshold back so if it was disced it might not ID at all.. so if you had 3/4 inch disced out and got a reading audiowise but was still iron it might show as far left as it could.. will have to play around with settings in the iron and see for sure
