Toothless, ugly broad...

...Here're two of my favorite finds from last season's efforts.

The heads/tails coins are always fun to find, and I had never seen one before I found my first. This one was found directly before our towns Catholic Church, left out of the collection plate, apparently. Probably for the best.
I've said it before and it bears repeating:

that is one butt-ugly gal on the heads side of the coin!

However, being a former sailor, I am inclined to consider her other fine attributes!

The teeth rung out like a screw-cap and it was only luck that I dug them. The entire park I was detecting goes back to before the turn of the last century. It had fallen on hard times in recent years and was a hangout for winos and druggies up to the last decade. As such, the entire place was carpeted with screwtops and pulltabs. This was to be my last dig before I either DISC'ed out the trash or moved on to cleaner digs!

I have no clue who they belonged to, but that is one return I would have liked to participate in!
