Tooth OR giant claw. Never seen one of these !!

I know that this is the wrong forum for this one, BUT I am going to give it a shot ! This is a very large tooth or claw of somekind.
It is about 3 1/2 inches long. What ever it came from I DO NOT want to meet ! Anybody have a guess ?
 
I would say a tooth from a herbivore.
if so it would appear to be the design of one of the frontal teeth.
