yesterday with his friend. First time detecting - 12 years old. They jumped right in and swung & dug along the beach. Because of the rains the beach was the only "dry" place to go.
They dug some coins & a lot of junk. All had fun & they see what its all about. I'll wait till they ask to go again - if they are interested. Steve in so la
 
Can't wait to do the same. My 4 kids all did it for awhile with me. All had their own detectors, but grew out of it. Sure am glad we haven't grown up yet! :thumbup:
