Took the XT70 out for a while today. No great finds but had a quiet time to relax and think.

Stopped at several places close to home. Pretty well pounded now that Ron moved to town. :please: Got clad and 3 Wheats a button and buckle.
Did manage two old coppers almost in the same hole.

This one I nicked but not much good anyway. The other was not recognizable.

Not bad Bob, a Liberty Cap at that. I gouged the KG too, hole was full of rocks. Welcome back to the Forum. Ron

Don't you hate competition. Maybe You'll just have to go out with him and enjoy the company. always enjoyable.
Mick Evans.

Ron had plenty of tricks of his own.
The XT70 seems to be a very stable machine. Other machines just need more time to work out the bugs.

Hi, Bob

Seen you cruising by, and even got one of your cards! Classy!
You stopped at a farm (The French's Farm) where I'm working, but missed you cos I went home for lunch. Maybe next time.

Nice finds!

The Xterras have :garrett: company (or competition, depending on how you feel) around these parts, and Ron has shown me quite a few tricks over time. Ron's been a great friend and mentor. Couldn't have asked for a better hunting partner.

Happy hunting, Bob! Hope to see you soon!

Julio

Thank you, Bob. We were off target on that coin, Bob... That was no Large Cent, it was a variety of the Washington Success Token (see my article online at streeters.org). Have found some other nice copper coins since then (see The Treasure Depot's Top Finds page).

Take care, and good luck. Maybe one day we can gang up on a site none of us has hunted before. Now THAT would be exciting!
