hey those of you that live near ski slopes listen up if you think tot lots are fun go walking underneath the chair lifts and see what youl find my experience today was awesome not one pull tab at all you either found clad or buttons or rings and i was on my knee's i think than swinging the coil because the ground was just littered with change i maybe got 75' up the trail than it began to poor and had to swear a few times just because did'nt want to give up but if you want to make your money back quick on a detector these places are it

Now that my Friend is a excellent idea for us who live up north..did you have any trouble getting permission .

no i did'nt your bigger resorts don't seem to care how i got to this was a employee saw me at the parking lot and knew him from way back, i asked him about permission on who to see and told me that theres a bunch that come up every year so he said go for it until some one says something so i'm taking oo advantage of this place, and when you dig if you break the 3 " mark your going deep thats my experience so far

Nice--old unwritten rule (not what you know, but who you know) worked for you. yeah when u think about it the stuff should near surface..Thanks for for a new hunting spot idea.

I was just reading an article and some detectorists out west will go when the just before the snow leaves the heat from the sun heats up the change and sear's through the snow leaving perfect holes in the snow easy pickins i guess

What ski areas are you hitting? I live in Summit County, CO and the snow is just starting to clear out. I have a Vaq myself...
