The ground is basically frozen here.I took the GT out for it's second hunt.I took it to the parking area of a local rodeo grounds.I found 6 quarters,1 dime and 3 pennies.I had to chip the coins out of the ground.One quarter was 6 inches deep.The meter really is helping me learn the difference between screwcaps and coins.The wind was blowing and it was cold.I just didn't hunt long.So far I really like this detector.Just wish I'd have got one early in the season.Coins really lock on and trash seems to bounce around number wise.This place is really trashy,you can hardly move the coil without some kind of target hit.What ever happened to Global Warming?Bill
