Took the Scorpion outfor a stroll to the park I hit the other day and danged if that puppy didn't suck up a gold ring with a fat little emerald in it.

Went back to this park this afternoon and wandered around for awhile picking up about$1.50 in coins. As I was heading out I scanned around the wading pool and got this solid hit. The ground was quite damp from an early sprinkle and it wasn't easy to pick this little gem out of the mud but when I saw the glitter of gold I giggled a bit, then when I saw that bright green stone I drooled a bit. I don't dance well on a bum leg but I gave it hell anyway. This little jewel was about four inches down.

Your turn will come, just keep at it. I've got quite a few but then I've been beating the dirt for 44 years now.

:Little bit of both I think. About wet my britches when I pulled that puppy up out of the mud. My wife has suddenly become attached to it. Just like the bracelet I found earlier this year. It now graces her wrist. I can't win for losing.
