Took the plunge for my mxt 300

Last night I was looking at Kellico and thay had a deal I could not pass up on. I bought a MXT300 with a Eclipse DD10" x 6" and I am getting the Eclipse Shooter DD 4"x6" Search Coil with the White promotion. I also ordered coil covers for all 3 coils and a tall man rod extension. ( I am 6'5")

But hear is the 2 day kicker? for 1$ I got toe pick out a second MD and I went with the Pioneer 505 with 8 inch coil.

My wife says I have to wait to unwrap this when it comes next week for Christmas. I don't think I will be able to wait that long lol

Look for to chatting with you all.

Brian

Good to have you Brian, it looks like you have what you need. I'm sure you will like the MXT. I don't think I could handle getting a new detector at this time of the year in Illinois. I"d be too antsy to get going. Let us know where you are located. You can also put your location at the bottom like in my post. Good luck, Rob

Congratulations Brian, You got one great detector coming. The coil combinations you are getting will get you through most situations, good luck and keep us posted.

I bet the wife does make you wait!!! That's what I hate about buying something this time of year. I bought me a Remington 12 ga. day before yesterday and she said the same thing, it goes under the tree.:lmfao: I sure did want to play with it.

I saw the same add Brian and looked over the other detectors for a buck! Hmmm....know nothing about the other brands but I'm sure they would be good as a backup. As far as the MXT...you got one that ranks up there with the best of them. Learn that detector and go slooooooooow!

Brian
If you don't have any headphones you could give your wife a pair for xmas and I reckon you would get them back one way or the other for long term usage. But may be have a little back up present say a little garden trowel.
Any way a ripper of a Detector good luck and HH.
