Took the outlaw to the river,

this spot of river , is all rockand gravle , lots of mineralized stones, so I ground balanced it and it performed really well , even with the current of the river the flat 7" widscan coil just easalymoved thru the water , I tried threshold all metal and no motion and disc, I was at minimum disc and the outlaw was sounding off on the big cut nails , but not really like a good target which i found non, nothing to do with the detector but its all metal modes cut thru the minerals very well , and it picked up what was thear very well and ignored the minralized rocks, I got a bong sound when i went over a not so mineralized stone but its very easy to tell I just was not in the mood to make a video but I only wish i could get this thing out on a shalow water beach not salt. just found some cut nails but if somthing good is thear I know it will pick it up fine, I have to say it performed well 1st time on the rock barr.

Glad you got out to Rock Barr. Cut nails in the river? You think maybe a bridge crossed over this area ?

Gunnar, you'd be in hog heaven if you could detect the places around where I live. You have a lot better scenery though.

I sure wished you would do another video. I haven't been out too much because of the heat and dry ground. I need a fix.

I did a video and found a neet bag seal and it was the only clip that did not work so i scraped the video , I will try again, Jim the rock barr was rumored to be a ford, and i did find an old pocket watch and old cast iron pans, broken and wagon hitch and horse shoe nails and cuts, thear may have been some structer but it would get washed out b the spring Ice they also floated the logs for fort snelling thru hear in 1820. still some chance of finding something, and the magnet is so nice for picking up the junk Iron that way a good target just may break thru , tab hang on
