Took the Nikon D2X kayaking last week on Virginia's Eastern Shore.

I just read about your two camera mishap below. There has got to be a good reason that a professional photographer like yourself chooses digital rather than 35mm film. I already ruled out expense of cameras as one of them reasons. Thanks

I fixed the one D70 with the mirror locked up but the other D70 needs to go back to Nikon. I bought the new Nikon D70s this morning as replacement until we get the D70 back from Nikon.

Hey, no rollovers there but I bought a neoprene triple seal dry sack for the kayaking expedition.

Too many chores to count going on around here. Dang, takin' pictures for a living can get to be a mighty expensive profession I see. I did buy that Nikon 8800. It's an awesome rig and I have alot of learning to do, but coming right along. From the sounds of things, I'm glad I picked up the 5 year warranty! A kayaking expedition sounds like the ticket Rick. Me and a buddy back home used to play "Beat the River" every Spring with the snow melts in a rubber raft. Somehow we survived to tell about it. Have a ball on expedition and be looking forward to some awesome pictures!
