Took the little Bullseye coil for a walk.

I went to an old fort site yesterday with the modified IDX Pro and Bullseye coil. The fort was started in the 1880's and closed after WW II. The Parade Grounds have been used thru the years as a ball field. I've been hunting this site for about 15 years and have pulled a lot of silver, indians, wheats, tokens and military stuff from here. I hunted the old barracks site and then the parade grounds while my wife hunted for bottles. The Waltham pocket watch is 14kt. gold filled or plated? and the age? I found some similar ones on ebay that were from the 1920's but I won't know for sure until I pry the back off and check the serial number.

by the look of the numerals,i would say 40's to 50's

J.T., I finally got the case apart and it's an American Waltham. According to the serial no. it was made in 1921. The case style is called the Monarch and the case is 14kt. gold plated.

Howdy crazyman

Nice variety of finds , especially the pocket watch , nice cuff buttons also , one of them appears to be an older one. That IDX and bullseye coil is a killer in the trash, continued success with that combo. HH..........Hombre

i stand corrected!..i have seen many walthams with a "similar" number shape and pattern that dated in the 40's and 50's the key here is "similar",obviousely not the same!..great find!..
