Took the Edge for a short spin X-mas afternoon.

I was using the small coil for some "casual" iron patch picking. Being X-mas day I didn't curse once even though I thought Santa might be sleeping in after the Big Night.

Came away with a couple wheaties and one Indian that was completely encased in green & black corrosion. Only way I could tell it was an Indian was by ID on the Edge and relative size to a standard penny. This morning after a few days in the Ketchup and some gentle brushing the date finally began to appear. So I fired up the new toy microscope(http://www.findmall.com/read.php?55,447902,447902#msg-447902) and took a look at 10X & 60X to pick out the date, 1895.

I have noticed that the Edge is right at home in the iron patch. My buddy couldn't even use his top of the line detector at this one particular spot that I worked with my edge with relative ease. Its a awesome detector in iron and trash!
