Took the dirty 30 to the playground

I travel a lot with me job so I take my detector with me I get to hunt a lot of different places usually don't have alot of time by the time I get off its getting dark but I found a playground that was lit up good and decided to check it out found alot of clad and just barely got a sound out of this 10k chain just happen to look down when I heard it and saw a little bit of it shining through the wood chips anybody else have trouble with the 3030 on gold chains?

I wouldn't use it as a gold chain detector,if that's what you mean...a lot of machines have trouble with chain just because of how eddy currents work,or so I understand. Great find though!

Thanks IDXMONSTER I didn't realy mean that I was using it for a chain finder but it has me thinking I did use it to look for a chain that I lost about 16 years ago while deer hunting it was very similar to the one I just found but it was 14k never found it maybe that's why I bet I dug 100 bullet casing but no gold chain.

I figured as much. That CTX will find just about anything else though! I could not possibly be more happy with mine,it's a dream come true,really.
