Started with stock beach program manual 25 was getting a lot of chatter in and out of the water played with it making adjustments up and down. Still could not get it to run just the way I wanted it too. went to manual +3 and it ran great watched the sensitivity and it was up and down from 13 at times all the way up to 29. Found one good hole and pulled. Six led sinkers, 15 quarters, six zinc pennies, two dimes left a bunch of those may have missed a silver ring but I was going for the gold. Also got 5 nickels 1 token two bottle caps did great on identifying them after two I did not need to dig any more. One junk earring and 20 pull tabs and a pice of a can. Mobile only with me so can't post pics. I can email a pic from my phone later if some one wants to pm me a email that wants to post pics for me. Time for a nap and then back at it this afternoon.

Manual +3? Was that suppose to be auto +3?

Please post your results! Lots of us are interested on how it does on the beaches!

Thanks!

Yes should have said auto +3 Will keep you up to date. Need a nap now and will try to get in at least 4 hours tonight.

Mine ran great in auto +3 dry, wet sand and in the surf. You are in Myrtle Beach and the sand is more hard packed so that may make a difference. Try 4 tones you may like it. Dig those 01 and 02s regardless of ferrous numbers. Sounds like you have mated with that CTX. Good luck and HH :goodnight::minelab:

Just north of Myrtle headed south for a afternoon hunt in a few. Will let you know how it goes. Will try again to see if I can get it to run in any manual type set up.
