Took the compadre to another ALMOST signal free field

Took the compadre to another field site i have been hitting with the etrac for the last 5 years, basically it was signal free except for iron grunts........well the lil magic compadre sniffed out a few more keepers. This thing is amazing in iron!!! This was one of my best field sites I have ever had and thats the reason I hit it over and over and over, and let many friends of mine hunt it as well with different machines. It has given up so many old coins, buttons and relics. I was sad it was depleted of signals. The compadre found for me a crusty 1881 indian, flat button, musket ball, old key, small two hole button, and a cool little enameled pin with a star on it. I am happy this came from a worked out site. Two thumbs up again for the compadre.

I like the Indian Head coin, WTG

You might want to run the Compadre over some of your old homestead yards that you thought were cleaned out.

I bet the Compadre could sniff out some more good finds, I like to run mine around old house foundations where nails are the thickest.

Now, dont go talking to loud about the compadre. Them high dollar detectors will get jealous. I dont want them buying compadres. They are just to good to put down. They make detecting fun... KEN

Nice job on the recoveries. Love finding those Indian head pennies. Is that a marble above the Indian head?

That's another good thing about hunting farm fields, you can put together a nice marble collection. I have found quite a few over the years.

Made in USA very old , if it says made in china you know its not so old , nice farm field

Its nice to be hunting an area that is not littered with trash. Rare but nice .

Nice finds man and I hear what your saying in regard to the Compadre. It's an animal..... I've grown to enjoy mine more and more with each outing. So much so, that I neglect to use my F5 . Sad but true. Mine seems to be set hot from factory as it wants to chirp on certain iron regardless of being notched out.

I quit trying to figure out why it finds things I've missed with other detectors and the weird little things it comes up with and just started using it more. I think it has some poofle dust sprinkled in the circuitry.:confused:

I am always amazed when I take a new detector to an old site. I always seem to pull a few more coins and such. I ran my compadre in my front lawn and picked out all I could find. I went back and picked out a few more. Then I got a Gold master 2 and figured I would try that. I found more coins mostly well within Compadre range. Then I went over it with an Infinium and found more. Alot of the infinium finds were deeper. I believe a place can be hunted out but most of the time the hunted out places are really just not worth hunting anymore. I have yet to find an Indian, nice.

Thats nice work and a good report, G4E...I've been lurking this Forum for a few years and have not yet had the pleasure to try a Tesoro product...

I follow your hunts on the Minelab threads, so your post is important as it validates the strength of the Compadre...You are one hell of a hunter and finder....gives a guy a reason to think a bit, maybe one day I'll give this product a go, it has some pretty good press from the fellows here, but this post of yours punches it right over the top!:clapping:

Be careful Mud, Tesoro detectors are addictive.

thanks for the kind words. I love my etrac, but it just isn't fast in iron. I have been searching for some time for something for iron laden fields that has a faster response time and I think tesorso detectors are the answer. I just got a vaquero yesterday....took a bit to figure out, but got it running smooth today! think its gonna be a great addition to my arsenal.
