Took the BHID 300 to the park :)

Well I have 2 BHID 300's as I bought one new 3 weeks ago and then bought another at a great price used. Then I thought about it and that was dumb now I have no land detector so lugged the BHID 300 to the local park to give it a whirl. The park is so filled with pulltabs and bottle caps it is impossible almost to use a big coil I found out lol. I dig not dig any iron and only got 2 pennies. But must have dug 45 pull tabs and 25 bottle caps. It really did ok at the park but got a little tired after about 1.5 hours.

Was surprised it really was lighter than the GTI 2500 actually. I think it is more at home in the water tho lol. No need for 2 BHID 300's so gonna toss the new one up in the classifieds after my 3 months are up for a good price.

The machine does work well in the land and the lights are helpful as no iron was dug by me. I moved to the outside edges of the park where there was no trash but kept hitting these weird rocks that would null the detector and ring up as gold. Any ideas why?

When I first got the BHID I went to a soccer field to experiment with it.
Sure learned how to pinpoint the targets .
Like you found pulltabs and other junk that way also learned the led light function.
Found clad and the best find was a 14k mans gold band wedding ring
The field wasn't to trashy at least.
